Bonnie has a unique ability that sets her apart from any other designer we have worked with. She combines her creativity and her clients practical needs with impeccable project management, making her an asset on any design concept. When we met Bonnie, we knew we were going to completely remodel our kitchen, but unfortunately that was all we knew. She was able to look at our existing kitchen and propose ideas that truly fit with who we are and how we would realistically get the best use of the space. Bonnie is able to communicate her vision beautifully and was able to know what we wanted even better than we did. She made our kitchen an absolute dream that we could never have envisioned ourselves.

Bonnie has a wide range of talents and is not boxed in by one design technique. She truly makes the effort to get to know you and your needs in order to create the best version of your vision. She was present to guide us every step of the way, as well as oversee our contractor and vendors. Her attention to detail, strong problem solving strategies, and high standards ensured we completed our kitchen on time and with the highest quality. We have already recommended Bonnie to several people and will continue to do so. We look forward to conquering other rooms with full confidence.

We have been enjoying our stunning new kitchen for one year now, and will be forever grateful to Bonnie for making it a reality!  The layout of our home limited the options available when we decided to renovate our second floor kitchen. Bonnie’s brilliant idea was to slightly re-route the stairs which immediately gave us a more workable space. She then designed the room to take full advantage of our ocean views. Bonnie guided us through the process of selecting cabinets, flooring, fixtures, appliances, paint, fabrics, furniture, tile and more. She has an eye for color and materials and offered many creative suggestions which turned out to be spot on. When I found paint or tile that I wanted to use, she somehow found the perfect place or way to incorporate them. When she purchased décor and staged the rooms for photos (another service she provides), we loved what she used so much we kept almost everything she bought. Bonnie worked flawlessly with our General Contractor to anticipate and quickly resolve issues as they arose. She is an excellent communicator and was responsive and available throughout the entire project. I recommend Bonnie to anyone looking for both creative solutions and the professionalism to guide the project through to completion.

Bonnie is responsive, efficient, has amazing taste and so great to work with. I was out of the country during the majority of our first floor renovation (kitchen, dining, living room and powder room) and Bonnie was amazing. We were able to communicate and make all the decision over email or facetime. My husband and I are the type that know what we like and don't like when we see it but to choose from the millions of options for tile, handles, mirrors, light fixtures, counter tops, etc. - forget it. Having Bonnie was an incredible time-saver, she listened to what we wanted, provided feedback to our ideas, gave us options that fit our needs, and offered decor ideas we would have never thought of on our own. In the end, we have an AMAZING space that love to call home. Thank you Bonnie! We love our home!

Bonnie helped us with a complete redo of our kitchen and Powder Room. We also replaced an out-dated fireplace, added new flooring and created a doorway to the exterior deck. Her idea to install French doors to replace an old window seat created a more efficient use of space.  Our kitchen, beautiful and updated, has more storage and counter space. Our Powder Room has better flow due to moving a wall and enclosing the toilet.  We are most appreciative of Bonnie's eye for design, color and blending of textures and materials. We are so pleased with the results! - Marti and Pat McC.

My wife and I hired Bonnie to design a master bath/master bedroom and living room remodel. We loved Bonnie from the moment we met her. Bonnie took the time to listen to exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Bonnie was able to adapt to our style which was extremely important to us. We didn't want to hire someone that pushed their own design. We wanted to be part of the process.. Our master bed and bath came out much nicer then we expected. Bonnie works quick and efficiently...We can't wait to use Bonnie on our next project. Strongly recommended!

I live in N. CA, and Bonnie is in S. CA, so she did not design our kitchen; however, we worked with her to purchase items for our remodel. We received great customer service. We ordered the incorrect item initially, and Bonnie quickly gave us feedback and found a way to remedy the problem. As well, she helped us expedite the shipping and return. We would definitely work with her again.  Thank you Bonnie!

I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the quality of work I received from Bonnie. I met her at a kitchen event. My husband and I were in the initial phase of remodeling our kitchen, laundry room and bath. We basically had no idea what we were doing. Bonnie came to our house measured our kitchen, laundry room and bath. They were all blank shells and she was able to design a kitchen, bath and laundry room layout that was functional and beautiful. In addition, our contractor suggested we go to a big store to get the cabinet, the layout they did was not satisfactory, and was way expensive. The same cabinets that the big store quoted us for the kitchen only cost more than the exact same cabinets Bonnie got us for the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. Even though our remodel took a very long time, contractor was slow, Bonnie was still available to us until the end. There was an issue with a drawer and Bonnie took care of it 9 months after we ordered the cabinets. I would hire her again in a minute and if I did not already have an interior designer hired, I would have had her as our interior designer too.

Bonnie's design services have been invaluable for our kitchen remodel. From our very first meeting with Bonnie, we were extremely impressed with Bonnie's ability to translate our vision for the space into a reality. Bonnie has an incredible eye for design and thinks of the smallest detail to enhance your space. Throughout our project, Bonnie has continued to keep in contact with us ensuring that if we need any assistance, she would be available. While it has taken a few months on our end to make final selections, Bonnie has stuck with us the entire time taking calls and emails from us anytime/anywhere to assist us wherever needed. We cannot thank Bonnie enough for all she has done and cannot wait to see our kitchen come to life. If you are seeking design services for your home, we cannot recommend Bonnie enough - she is the best in the business!

Bonnie has a great eye for color, shapes and textures. She is in tune with current trends in design, and she has a knack for adapting these trends to the needs of the client. She helped create designs for our bathrooms incorporating unusual stones, tiles and layouts that has completely transformed the spaces and made them pop. She did a similarly good job with her design suggestions for our Master Bedroom renovation. I would recommend her services highly.

I have had an amazing experience working with Bonnie Bagley Catlin from Signature Designs. I first found her on Houzz.com. I had just purchased a condo in Solana Beach, and wanted to remodel it in a contemporary style. Bonnie is highly talented, professional, and worked very hard to find value throughout the remodeling process. She was willing to listen to my ideas, but also pushed the project in some exciting directions I would not have imagined on my own. She worked very well with the contractor that she helped me find, Isaac Saucedo from IAS Builders, and they made a fine team. I would not hesitate to ask for Bonnie's help in the future.

As a contractor we are constantly on the lookout for ways to make our business more profitable, customers happier and our business days easier. Working with the public is a challenge and taking large sums of money from them, being in their homes for sometimes months at a time, and to continue to keep them happy is nothing less than a miracle at times. One of the best business decisions we have made at TaylorPro Design and Remodeling was to incorporate Bonnie into our business model. She is a no-nonsense straight shooter that has an amazing God given gift to consistently provide above the bar designs catered to the individual client. Unlike many of her compadres, Bonnie doesn't impose her personal preferences or personal design styles into the clients designs. Instead, she takes their ideas/tastes/styles and takes it to WOW. That is rare in the designer world and our client feedback has been unanimous in this area. At TaylorPro working with Bonnie is also a huge time saver. Bonnie's design process begins with a client interview, noting product, style, design criteria and wish list. Then over the next several weeks preliminary layouts, drawings and product selections start to gel and the client gains huge confidence in "their" design and choices. By the time clients hit the "go" button, they have slept on the ideas and they feel that their design is the best one to suit their needs, styles and budget. This saves me countless hours with the client. This is a huge win for us as we start the construction phase of the project. Drawings are in place, materials are selected and purchased, and we have a well thought out and designed road map. In a nut shell, Bonnie makes my life easier, she makes the clients happier in their decision to remodel and this all makes my business more profitable. Firing on all cylinders! Thank you Bonnie.

Bonnie is a very good designer, patient, and helpful in several ways. She understood what we needed from the start, came up with interesting ideas, and even planned out my lighting in less than 15 minutes. She emailed pictures of appliances, other kitchens, design ideas, lighting ideas and helped us select countertops and cabinets. She is patient. Four designs and five months later we are still undecided what to do in the kitchen. At this point we have decided to pay her hourly. Throughout a family illness, religious holidays, a broken drain pipe under the foundation, a steady stream of summertime relatives, and the complication of a kosher kitchen, Bonnie kept up with our changes and answered my phone calls promptly, even after long delays on my part. She was very helpful. She created a powder room layout, and helped me decide on paint color for our fireplace without an extra fee. I was inspired to change some minor structures in our kitchen and she referred me to several contractors, plumbers, and electricians as well as giving aesthetic advice on what opening or wall should stay and what should go. I also liked that she was ok to settle on a fee for her design work up front without obligation to buy from her vendors. She used a color computer rendering only on the first design and allotted one hour for site visits. I think we met at least 6-7 times. The only downside was that although cabinet measurements and appliance placements were well defined, I needed more details to understand where my stuff would go in the designs and, besides the first computer rendering, a clearer picture of how our kitchen would look. For people who want fun and innovative ideas, who are quick to know what they want and who rely on architects and contractors for detail, she is phenomenal.
